Comfort Ye Buildi

CYM Fire

August 19th, sometime between 5:00pm and 6:00pm God saw fit to allow a lighting strike to cause a fire to develop inside of our beloved Comfort Ye building. We are convinced that our community here in Middle Tennessee area needs a ministry like this to continue to help those here that are in need. We are so appreciative of those who have helped over these many years to assist us as we assist those in need in our area. We believe this ministry will continue and if you would like to help us in this endeavor, your gift is greatly appreciated. May God richly bless you!

Many needs occur in the lives of the elderly and infirmed. The goal of the Comfort Ye Ministry is to meet as many of these needs as possible. Many health-care organizations and hospitals use the Comfort Ye Ministry for assisted-living equipment to aid their patients, no matter the age, in recovery. In order to know in what areas assistance is needed, we ask that you or some member of the family call and come to our office, located at 307 E. Jefferson Pike, so that we can talk. From the information gathered at that meeting, we can more efficiently meet the needs represented. We want to help all those who come to have their needs met and get to know a new friend. Contact our office by calling 615-890-3834
Many things are taken for granted or overlooked by those who are well, are badly needed by the elderly and infirmed. Here at the Comfort Ye Ministry we are always searching for ways to meet these needs. One way we have found to help is through our food pantry, where we decide what are going to eat or drink including the best juices we prepare ourselves following these Juicing Daily Tips and Reviews. We have not only groceries but toiletry supplies as well. Below are listed just a few of the products that are available.

  • Hand Lotion
  • Rubbing Alcohol
  • Peroxide
  • Shampoo
  • Mouth Wash
  • Facial Soap
  • Food (Canned, frozen)
  • And many more items

*Due the fire our Food and toiletries Pantry is closed until we have our new building.

The equipment room of the Comfort Ye Ministry building contains supplies that are needed by many to conduct their everyday tasks. This equipment can help bring dignity to those whose health has begun to fail them. These items are collected by the Comfort Ye Ministry for the sole purpose of giving them to those who are in need. Some equipment will need a prescription from the doctor. If a problem occurs with the equipment, One of our members will either repair the item, or the Ministry will replace the mechanical part, at no cost to the user. The only stipulation put on the equipment is that when it is no longer needed, please clean and returned to the Comfort Ye Ministry to be used by another individual.

Available items include but are not limited to:

Wheelchairs Hospital Beds Canes
Walkers Bedside Commodes Lift Chairs
Bathtub Bars Reachers Crutches

*NOTE: We can no longer take adjustable beds

The Comfort Ye Ministry began as a burden that God gave to the founder of the ministry. It is a faith-based ministry that helps the needy without any cost to them. This ministry is solely supported by the giving of others. There are no overhead expenses. Each dollar given goes directly to help those in need. Any building expenses are covered by the Heartland Baptist Church. Church members donate their time, collecting no salary to do as God has instructed them to do—help the needy.
